Hi
I've tried a couple of header codes from elsewhere, and now I've just tried to add a button to the menu, using the code from this site. But I've never been able to make headers do anything other than print text at the top, and basic formatting. Scripts seem to do nothing. Any suggestions what I'm doing wrong?

I personally just tested the code out in my test board, and it works fine. A correct example of the code would be: <script> menuAdd = document.getElementsByTagName('td'); for (ma=0;ma<menuAdd.length;ma++){ if (menuAdd[ma].className=='menubg'){ menuAdd[ma].innerHTML+="<a href='http://www.google.com'target='_blank'><img src='http://www.4d5.net/boardimages/menu/home.gif' border='0'></a>" }} </script> Which would just be pasted directly into your headers. There should be no browser issues with this code, so just out of curosity, what browser are you using?

That works, thanks! I'll have a look to see what I was doing wrong later. I'm using IE6.

I changed the single quotes to double quotes before, as I was renaming the target file and link file. But as they're already within another lot of quotes, you have to keep them as single quotes. Thanks!
