CNNFrom CNN: The world's most powerful earthquake in more than 40 years struck deep under the Indian Ocean off the west coast of Sumatra, triggering massive tsunamis that obliterated villages and seaside resorts in more than 10 countries. Tourists, fishermen, homes and cars were swept away by walls of water that rolled across the Bay of Bengal, unleashed by the 9-magnitude quake. As the aid effort gathers strength under rising fears of disease, the possibility of thousands more deaths is becoming more apparent. Have you donated? Will you? Disaster like this prove just how much power and energy the Earth can release. Disasters like this raise questions for me. Why isn't there some sorta of warning system installed. Why do we have to wait until after a disater to donate. Would it have been hard for some poeple to donate money so a horn could be put on a pole to warn people to get away? I have donated, have you?

Wow. Isn't the death toll almost 220,000 now? I saw it on Proboards Support. It is so sad that so many people died
